I remember my first watching this drama back in 2010.
This drama is based on true story back in 1986.
It is about a women name Soraya who live in Iran.
Her aunt name Zahra were very close with her.
She began to tell the hidden truth to a journalist man, Sahebjam of what men really are in that village and how Soraya has been abused by an abusive husband.

This drama really sets me in anger, sad and so on.
Basically it's all in one kinda feelings.
So,the other day, as I check out my Facebook acc,
I came accross with a link that was post by my cousin.
She posted a link that shows a full length for this drama.

Here I am, updating my blog and share it with all my readers.
Please do watch this drama as it really gonna make an impact to you.
Well not 'THAT' impact but atleast a lil knowledge. I guess? Hehe.

And now I'm back.. (n_n*)
Yes everyone..
By now, I'm sure all of you know that officially married with my college lover..
After 6yrs 7mths we've been dating,
we finally tie a knot!
Alhamdulilah..

The preparation for my wedding was a total drama!
So many things to prepare and blablabla..
Anyway, our colemnisation was on 11 Nov 2011 at Assyakirin Mosque..
Everything goes smoothly as plan but
when night times come, another drama begins!
Wonder what was it?
My wedding decoration and the dais..
It turns out SUCKS!
Not as what I've requested for..
Super dissapointed with what they've done to it..
I've paid thousands of dollars and this is what I got?
I cried all night long and seriously,
I AM A TOTAL BRIDEZILLA that night!
I called the person in charge but she responded that this is what I've asked for..
Of course, as a bride, I'm totally pist with it..
I called my partner and oh, it's sucha drama mama!!

Gosh, I'm left with 5 days till I'm gonna say good bye to my virginity!

Anyway, the preparation is a total stressful but at same time I had fun preparing it!

But syukur alhamdulilah, apart from me getting stress or pressure with this,

I still have my mum, cousins and family helping me out here and there..

I guess most of you know that I'm doing a sideline job in photography and make-up/ face paint.

Well, the reason I blog today cos some of you are wondering what kinda program I used for my photo or video editing and where do I learn it from.

First and foremost, I learn my make up from my mum and aunt. My mum, she used to be a make-up artist and she taught me some skills here and there. Sometimes, I try and create my own make-up look but most of the time, Youtube helps me alot! Hehe..

I started doing face painting back in my high school.

I've been an Art student since in junior. So, take art as my all time fav things to do. And when i'm totally out of paper, I will either draw on my face or on my bedroom wall!

Yeah, I always get nagged by my mum and sister. =P

Anyway, being in this kinda line is really interesting and of course lotsa challenges given by the client.

It's either they want slashed price or they want the products before the deadline.

You see, I'm still a rookie in photography and of course I'm learning to it at same time.

Sometimes when I'm totally go clueless in editing, I will either asked my fiance or my uncle who is a professional photographer.

Picture and video editing can be a really challenges. Especially when your computer go hang halfway u're done.

SUCKs! I know..

I just want things to be perfect and satisfy my clients at the end of the day.

If they are happy, I'm happy too. (n_n*)

Anyway, let's make it short.

Yoshinoya Beef Bowl

Hi everyone!!

My mission to cook yoshinoya beef bowl has finally accomplished!

And the best is, my lil brother LOVE it! I was surprised with it cos the truth is, he's the kinda kid who is VERY choosy when comes to food.. SUPER CHOOSY! Hehe

So here, I'm proudly to share with you the recipe. (n_n*)

Ingredients:
- Beef Shabu Shabu
- White Onion (japanese onion/ bawang jepun)
- Kikkoman Soya Sauce (please check ingredients first cos some contains alcohol extracts)
- Hao Chi Seasoning
- Beef Stock Cube (Knorr brand)
- Sesame Seeds (optional)

Steps/ methods:

Place 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil or any other oil. Sliced the onion and stir fry it. Once the onion changes it color to translucent or a lil yellow, add in the shabu shabu. Stir it evenly and add in atleast 3 or 4 tablespoon of soya sauce. Add togather 2 teaspoon of Hao Chi and 1/2 cube of beef stock. Finally, stir it till the beef broth and you're done! Serve it hot with white rice and garnish with the sesame seeds.

Miso Soup Recipe

Hi love!!

How are you today?
Well, as you all can see, it's been on and off I updated my blog here.
I'm getting way busy with my work and of course my wedding preparation.
Do excused me. Hehe (n_n*)

So love, I bet all of you know that I love to eat and specially japanese food (well actually not only Jap food la. Hehe).
Living here in Singapore, it is quite difficult to get halal food or halal products.
Maybe, it is due to the living population here? I guess.
Well, I've been craving to cook Miso soup at home.
As I was googling for the recipe, I tell you, it's fudging easy la!
But ah, most of the items are actually alcohol contains. (chet!!)
You see, Japanese food are quite famous in using alcohol contains or maybe pork fats and such.
It's kinda upset me at first but afraid not.
I finally found something that I can finally cook a humble HALAL MISO! *clap clap*

Ingredients:

1 and half tblspn of Maruman Mutenka Shiro Miso Paste (to dilute with a cup of water)

Fresh dried anchovies or cube stock (it is best to use the stock instead)

Dried Green Seawed (to be soak)

Soft Tofu (to be cut in cube size)

Spring Onion (for garnishing)

Steps:

Boil the stock/ fresh dried anchovies(you may need to seperate the dried anchovies once it is boil). Add in the miso paste that are already diluted, soft tofu and the dried seaweed. Stir it well till and done. Add in the spring onion as a final touch.

p/s: in case all of you are wondering where can you get the Maruman Mutenka Shiro Miso Paste, you can get it at ISETAN orchard, NTUC Fairprice Xtra (Jurong Point) or GIANT Hypermarket. Big Girl Don't Cry

I will still smile and laugh but truth is,

I'm a girl who cry all night.

They assume that I'm strong with all this challenge,

But they didn't know how I'm struggle with it.

I pretend to say "I'm alright",

But the fact is, "I'm not".

You gave me judgement that's not supposed to be true,

And all I can do is ignore and walk away.

I can still control this tears of mine,

Cos I still respect you as A SOMEONE.

I've kept myself quiet when harsh words came out from your mouth,

Am I really that dumb for not standing it up?

I keep my head up and forgive all your mistakes,

But the truth is, I forgive but can never forget.

Someone told me that I have to move on,

keep myself in a positive vibes and always remember 'him' up there.

All this challenge that he've given to me,

It is a test that I have to go through without any complain.

If I Can, Why Not You?

I have an issue with my weight since 2009. I didn't realize my body's growing until someone says this to me "eh2 girl.. Membiak kau eh.. *makcik2 quarters2 talking mode*" (means: "girl, u've grown fat..") Of course I feel upset n it's like a big punch on my face. So I starts to skip my meals, became an Anorexia, starts taking different type of slimming products and jamu.... I keep getting myself sick now n then. Going to n fro to the hospital due to stomach/ gastric n other medical conditions. It makes my family worried when I starts to have chest congestion every now n then. Went to my family doctor n he send me for further check up n scope at the hospital. What surprised me, the doc inform me that I have 2 lumps of dead fats underneath my ribcage n due to that, I have to undergo for operations to remove it. I didn't do the operations tho' cos I dun see the needs to it n the doc even told me that it's a "normal" problem especially for those who are "dieting".. And so the doc gave me LOTS of medicine! I mean it ALOT!! After taking those med, I don't see any differ to it. So I stop n live as per normal again. But this time, my appetite double up! I always feel hungry even after MIDNIGHT!

Taken in 2009.. My face starts to be round n round.. =P

In 2010, my mum and sister starts teliing me that I've "grown". My tummy, my bum, my arms, my thighs!! So I start taking all types of diet tea/ pills again. Until at one point, when I took one particular slimming tea, I starts to have breathing difficulty and I can feel that as if my kidney is being squeezed n poke with pins! Sucha pain in the ass I have to say. I starts to look down on myself and it does affect to my personal life. But thanks god my fiance keep pushing me to exercise n nag at me whenever I starts to look down on myself.

In 2010, double chin, big arms, big bum, big tummy n big thighs!! Sometimes people even tot that I'm pregnant!!! How embarrassing =((

Early 2011, my sister bestfriend recommend me with Herbalife.

But it doesn't interest me at all as I had enough with all this dieting products.

Eventho' I do see the changes in her.

Even some of my relatives n frens take this products as well.

Alot of positive feedback given.

But still, I can't be bother with it until 1 day, Syikin (my FB fren) explains to me from A to Z about Herbalife.

It takes time for me to think about it but ya, I give it a try tho'.

And guess what? Not only my body 'shrinks' but I feel much fresher and healthier.

I didn't get sick much often and my migraines no longer "visits" me!

I'm soooo in LOVE with the Herbal Concentrate Tea, Cell-U-Loss pills and of course the SHAKES!!

I've took Herbalife almost 1 month now!!

YEAY!! *applause n pat my back*

All thanks to Herbalife and of course to everyone that reccommend me this!

1. Stay Alert
If someone shows an interest in your boyfriend, keep an eye on the situation. Is she a work colleague coming up with excuses to email or text him? I AM NUMBER FOUR

The first thing in my mind when my fiance tells me that we gonna watch "I Am Number Four", I felt excited about it.

Me, who is so into this kinda sci-fi, criminal, gore, magical, illusionistic or whatever the word is called, will of course say "YIPPIE!!!"

I did watch the trailer in YouTube and yeah it really turns me on *winks*

And so here I am, writing in my typical blog and share about it.

Here goes.....

"I Am Number Four follows the story of John Smith, a 15-year old alien from the planet Lorien, and his guardian, Henri, as they run from the Mogadorians, another race of aliens that are hunting down John and the other eight teenage Loriens, who all make up the Garde, living on Earth. The Garde consists of all Loriens who have special Legacies and powers. The teenagers are protected by a charm, which only allows them to be killed in a set order. John is Number Four. Both the Loriens and Mogadorians have a human appearance.

The book opens with the death of Number Three. Number Four is introduced, going by the name of Daniel Jones, as he leaves Florida. Four has three circular scars wrapped around his right ankle, signifying the deaths of Numbers One, Two and Three. These scars are present on all the Lorien teenagers, and with each death, another scar appears. Henri, Four’s Cêpan (guardian), tells him they are going to Paradise, Ohio. Four chooses the name John Smith as his new alias.

Tired of running, John says that he wants to begin to make a life for himself. Henri reminds him why they run, and the conversation ends. John begins to attend the local high school, where he meets Sarah Hart, a blonde junior. He also meets her ex-boyfriend Mark James, who immediately begins to pick on John. John stands up to him, the first time he has ever stood up to anybody.

In his astronomy class, John’s hands begin to hurt and glow. When John is back at his house, he realizes that his first Legacy has arrived. A Legacy is a power that only certain Loriens possess, and each differs from one Lorien to the other, except for telekinesis, which all members of the Garde are capable of performing. Henri tells John that his first Legacy is Lumen, the ability to produce light from his hands and a resistance to heat and fire. When Henri begins to help, the resistance of fire and heat spread throughout John’s body, John has a vision of his last moments on Lorien when the Mogadorians attacked, while Henri narrates."

So ya, I'm not sure wthr or not I shall make you guys go for it or maybe, you can just watch it only? Neh... Bad idea! (starts typing and visit those movie online!! Yeah.. I mean it anyway..) Hahahah! Ok cut the crap!

MOVIE SEQUEL

The story is set to be continued in The Power of Six, set to be released August 23, 2011 and focus on Number Seven. A preview is provided at the end of a special edition of I Am Number Four.

They caught Number One in Malaysia. (Like seriously in Malaysia???!)

Number Two in England.

And Number Three in Kenya.

They tried to catch Number Four in Ohio and failed.

I am Number Seven. One of six still alive.

And I'm ready to fight.

P/S: I just find the movie just so n so. It's best if you just watch it online or maybe in VCD/ DVD

Apa ertinya Muharram?

Muharram (محرّم) adalah bulan pertama dalam Sistem Takwim Hijrah (Hijriah). Pada asasnya, Muharram membawa maksud 'diharamkan' atau 'dipantang', iaitu Allah SWT melarang melakukan peperangan atau pertumpahan darah. Namun demikian larangan ini ditamatkan setelah pembukaan Makkah (Al Baqarah: 91).

Sejak pemansuhan itu, umat Islam boleh melaksanakan tugas dan ibadat harian tanpa terikat lagi dengan larangan berkenaan. Rasulullah s.a.w telah menamakan bulan Muharram sebagai bulan Allah (shahrullahi).

Sandaran yang dilakukan oleh Baginda s.a.w kepada Allah s.w.t lantaran kemuliaan dan kelebihan bulan ini kerana sesungguhnya Allah s.w.t tidak merujukkan kepadaNya melainkan oleh golongan khowas (terkhas) di kalangan makhluk - makhlukNya.

Daripada Al-Hassan Al-Basri rahimahumullah sesungguhnya Allah s.w.t telah membuka lembaran tahun baru di dalam takwim Islam dengan bulan Muharram. Tidaklah kedapatan bulan yang lebih mulia dalam takwim Islam di sisi Allah s.w.t itu selepas bulan Ramadhan melainkan bulan Muharram. Ia dinamakan bulan Allah yang khas disebabkan besarnya kehormatannya.

Doa Akhir dan Awal Tahun

Barangsiapa yang membaca doa awal tahun ini, insya Allah dirinya akan terpelihara daripada gangguan dan godaan syaitan di sepanjang tahun tersebut.

In the fight of HIV/ AIDS, everyone counts. - Action for AIDS

Hey everyone!!
In conjuctions of World AIDS Day, I hereby would like to blog about it.

Overview of the HIV/AIDS epidemic
Singapore’s HIV epidemic is classified as a low-level epidemic1. The first case of
HIV was diagnosed in Singapore in 1985. Since then, the cumulative total
number of HIV-infected Singapore residents has increased from 2 in 1985 to a
cumulative total of 4,159 as of 30 June 2009. Of these:

• 1,935 are asymptomatic carriers (47%)
• 974 have AIDS-related illnesses (23%) and
• 1,250 have died (30%)

The prevalence of known HIV cases among the resident population aged 15 years and
above was 0.09% in 2008.

The number of newly-diagnosed cases in 2008 was 456, compared to 423 cases
in 2007. Between January and June 2009, another 218 Singapore residents were
detected to be HIV-infected.

The epidemic in Singapore is predominantly male. As at end June 2009, there
were 3,729 male cases and 430 female cases, giving a sex ratio of nine males to
one female.

The epidemic in Singapore is driven mainly by sexual transmission. 66% of the
4,159 cases acquired HIV through heterosexual transmission, and 28% through
homosexual and bisexual transmission. As a result of the strict drug laws in
Singapore, intravenous drug abuse accounted for only 2% of all HIV cases.

Sad to say, many people in Singapore really look down or afraid to be or understand the meaning of HIV/ AIDS. Here as listed below, question and answers that I found for some of you (for those who don't really get it).

What causes AIDS?

AIDS is caused by HIV (human immunodeficiency virus).

HIV is a virus that gradually attacks immune system cells. As HIV progressively damages these cells, the body becomes more vulnerable to infections, which it will have difficulty in fighting off. It is at the point of very advanced HIV infection that a person is said to have AIDS. It can be years before HIV has damaged the immune system enough for AIDS to develop.

What are the symptoms of AIDS?

A person is diagnosed with AIDS when they have developed an AIDS related condition or symptom, called an opportunistic infection, or an AIDS related cancer. The infections are called ‘opportunistic’ because they take advantage of the opportunity offered by a weakened immune system.

It is possible for someone to be diagnosed with AIDS even if they have not developed an opportunistic infection. AIDS can be diagnosed when the number of immune system cells (CD4 cells) in the blood of an HIV positive person drops below a certain level.

Is there a cure for AIDS?

Worryingly, many people think there is a 'cure' for AIDS - which makes them feel safer, and perhaps take risks that they otherwise wouldn’t. However, there is still no cure for AIDS. The only way to stay safe is to be aware of how HIV is transmitted and how to prevent HIV infection.
Can we get infected easily?

No. We don't easily get infected. But there's three main transmission routes of HIV are sexual contact, exposure to infected body fluids or tissues, and from mother to fetus or child during perinatal period. It is possible to find HIV in the saliva, tears, and urine of infected individuals, but there are no recorded cases of infection by these secretions, and the risk of infection is negligible.

Anti-retroviral treatment of infected patients also significantly reduces their ability to transmit HIV to others, by reducing the amount of virus in their bodily fluids to undetectable levels.

So friends and my love one, try to understand and learn the meaning of AIDS/ HIV before judging or look down on someone wo get that infection. Try to put yourself in their shoe before judging someone next time.

Hi Bloggers!!

This is just one random post from me. My future sis in law post a question for me.

Her question:

"If ppl dont dare to say infront of you but suka sindih sindih (sarcastic word/ teased)...what would you do?? I've been tesed many numberous of time but all I could do is to be patience.. so really..what would you do?"

My reply:

We are in the same shoe my dear sister. To tell the truth, when people behaving that way to me, all I do is smile/ ignore (when I still able to control or best, pretend I'm deaf). But when I totally unable to control my feelings, I will response back to their sarcasm (in reply to what they had say about me).

Most of the time I avoid being sarcastic back to them. Cos honestly, my sarcasm will make someone get pissed or etc kinda feeling (that's what my family/ friends say). I prefer being straight forward to a person instead of using all the sarcasm. When they begin to say this and that, I will ask them "are u talking about me?" then they WILL for sure say this "terasa ke? (with irritating laughter/ bitchy attitude) "

Without being embarrassed, I will say yes to them. Cos it makes no harm to tell the truth. Right? Furthermore, giving such sardonic words won't make things settle down or clear. It will keep continue on and on. So, what's best is stand up and asked them.

It is good that you gave patience to them. But, patience has it's limit too. When you need to speak out, you should speak out. Even though it's a hard time or may hurt that person feelings, atleast you should/ must stand up for yourself. It's your right. If they keep continue doing it, it makes you lose your own self-esteem and may occurred an unhappiness to your own self. Stress/ pressure/ sulking or etc will too begin.

So, before giving them the happiness of sarcasm towards you, you should give them the meaning for sarcasm of happiness.

ps: The secret of patience is doing something else in the meanwhile. Ignorance can (sometimes) be the best remedy. Good luck and may you and your family be protected by Allah swt. Amin. (n_n*)

Don't Draw Conclusions

An old man was sitting with his 25 years old son in the train. Train is about to leave the station. the young man was filled with a lot of joy and curiosity. He was sitting on the window side.
He took out one hand and felt the passing air. He shouted, "Papa see all trees are going behind". Old man smile and admired his son's feelings.

Beside the young man was a couple that were sitting and listening to the whole conversion between father and son.
They felt a little awkward with the attitude of the 25 years old man behaving like a small child.
Suddenly the young man again shouted, "Papa see the pond and animals. Clouds are moving with train".
The couple watching the young man were now embarrassed. It started raining and some of the water drops touched the young man's hand.

He was filled with joy and he closed his eyes. He shouted again," Papa it's raining, water is touching me, see papa".
The couple couldn't help themselves and asked the old man.“Why don't you visit the Doctor and get your son treated?”
The old man said, " We are coming from the hospital. My son got his eyes for first time in his life".

Moral : "Don’t draw conclusions until you know all the facts"
Many times people jump to conclusions without getting the facts right. They only think that what they perceive is the right thing and exclude all other possibilities. Its only when they learn the truth that they accept it.

My Online Crave

Hi bloggers!!

Today, I will blog about the food/ snacks that I always ordered through online. The first time I get to know about Ladiez Haven was from multiply contacts then to Facebook. The time when I first tried was during Hari Raya Puasa. I got the cake roll. I bought the blueberry, chocolate mix, choclate strawberry followed by rempah betawi flavor. My family and my colleagues really love the taste of it. Cos normally when I bought it elsewhere, it might be lack of ingredient or worst, fungus! My mum's fav was the chocolate mix. She love that the most. I've tried ordering again for Raya Haji but to dissapointment, it's already sold out. Boo Hoo.. So you see, how popular this cake roll is. Oh! they even called it as cake sarawak. Something like that. Heee..

Eventho' those cake roll already sold out, they has inform me that there's other kinda food/ snacks for Hari Raya Haji. Such as devil's pop with melted chocolate, rempeyek and kerepek sambal. Without hesistation, I ordered those from her including the chunky beef nachos dip as well. All items been delivered on the eve of Hari Raya itself. I felt excited, especially seeing the devil's pop with melted chocolate. The taste is super sinful and "ooh-la-la...". Rempeyek was my in-law's favourite while the kerepek sambal was mine.

To add a touch to that kerepek sambal, it will be much nicer if there's dried anchovies (ikan bilis) in it and more chilis! Well, i'm a spicy kind of person. Hehe.

For the chunky beef nachos dip, it taste something that I expect it to be. SUPERB! with the chunky beef, oh my! I didn't have it with nachos yet. But I have it with rice/ spaghetti and even with some other crackers (weird me! hehe). But hey, it really taste nice. Seriously!

As for the packaging wise, it has been packed neatly and organized. No issue to it. Everything is perfectly fine. ;)

So love, do make your orders if you wished to get those good food/ snack that I've mention! If you don't, i'm sure you gonna regret! No worries, everything is HALAL!!!

How Can I save Money on a Wedding?

Today, wedding cost upwards of $30,000. Take a few shortcuts, however, and you could wind up spending a lot less. After going through for 2 days marriage course, I've learn a lot of interesting tips. I learn about Love, Sex, Money, Family Planning and more!

Me and my fiance really enjoy ourselves. So for those couples who are planning to get hitched, go for those courses. You will for sure learn something from there!

Here are some tips that I got for the couples that are struggling to save the dollars!! Good luck and have a bless marriage (n_n*)

Things You'll Need:
- Patience
- Supportive Family and Friends
- Resourcefulness

Instructions for a successful savings;

1 - Keep your guest list at less than 1000 by trimming off people who are only occasional associates, very distant relatives or friends of your parents who don't know you directly.

2 - Specify "adults only" on the invitation to cut down on the number of guests.

3 - Buy your own card stock and print your Save the Dates and invitations at a local copy store.

4 - Create a Facebook/ Blogspot wedding page instead of paying for an official wedding Web site.

5 - Shop online and start as early as possible! Look on Ebay and other auction sites for gowns, tuxes, shoes, accessories, decorations, gifts, etc. You can find everything you can imagine you might want and if you start early, you can save bundles on the top designer gowns, bridal bouquets, accessories and so much more.

6 - Buy your flowers from a flower market or wholesaler and have a creative friend or family member do the arrangements.

7 - Attend sample sales and after-season sales to get the best discounts on wedding dresses or even wedding ring!

8 - Purchase colorful, normal formal wear dresses from a department store (where they may even give you a discount for buying in bulk) instead of from a bridal shop, which can have a huge markup.

9 - Set up an iTunes list of all the songs you want played at the wedding. Instead of hiring a DJ, rent a microphone and sound system and ask an outgoing, techno-savvy friend or relative to MC and play the tunes.

10 - Take a photo of the kind of cake you want to the bakery department in your local grocery store. They can typically save you at least 30% and produce the same quality cake as a specialty baker.

In this movie, Katie's relatives install a security surveillance system in their home, after experiencing what they believe to be a series of break-ins by a vandal, only to discover from the footage that a paranormal presence (and Katie herself) are responsible for the damage. Convinced something supernatural is going on by a ghost, the family deals with Katie's tormenting, as she violently haunts them all and seeks to take her baby nephew Hunter.

My Review
Those who've already watch the part 1, you can't missed watching the part 2!
This time, they actually showed us what happen before Micha died. I won't described more in here. Cos for sure it won't be much interesting. So, go get yourself a tix and go catch this movie!!

Let me start with the review from the Yahoo Singapore.

Storyline:
In Lake Victoria Arizona, a tremor causes the lake's floor to open, setting free scores of prehistoric piranhas. Every year the population of sleepy Lake Victoria explodes from 5,000 to 50,000 for a single, wild weekend - the 4th of July. Lake Victoria sits in the crater formed by a prehistoric volcanic eruption, and when earth tremors tear open a crack in the lake floor, all hell breaks through. Piranhas - a million ravenous, razor-toothed monsters, unchanged since the dawn of time. Unstoppable killing machines acting blindly under one primeval impulse: to hunt down anything that moves and strip it to the raw, bleeding bone.

When I first watch the trailer, it really makes me excited to watch this movie. What's excite me more, it's in 3D!! To my dissapointment, the movie turn out SUCKS!

It's like, you will know what's gonna happen next. Another boring movie I've watch this year so far. Waste my S$ watching this. Seriously, please do something about it!

Aku punya seorang rakan baik dari zaman kanak-kanak. Lim Wei Choon. Sana-sama bersekolah rendah hingga ke peringkat menengah . Selepas SPM. Aku masuk ke Tingkatan 6, manakala Lim dihantar keluarganya melanjutkan pelajaran ke Amerika Syarikat. Kenangan sewaktu kanak-kanak hingga ke zaman remaja terlalu banyak yang dikongsi bersama.

Setiap kali hariraya menjelang, Lim pasti berkunjung ke rumah ku untuk menikmati dodol arwah ayahku yang amat digemarinya. kadangkala, jika ada kenduri kendara dirumahku, pasti Lim akan turut serta. Aku jarang ke rumahnya kecuali umtuk beberapa sambutan seperti harijadi dan juga Tahun Baru Cina. Aku takut dengan anjing peliharaan keluarga Lim.

Dengan Lim juga aku belajar matematik manakala subjek Bahasa Malaysia sering menjadi rujukannya padaku. Kenangan-kenangan seperti memancing, mandi jeram, ponteng sekolah untuk melihat pertandingan 'breakdance', semuanya kami kongsi bersama-sama. Apa yang ingin kunyatakan ialah, warna kulit dan perbezaan ugama tidak pernah menjadi penghalang persahabatan kami. 20 tahun telah berlalu, Lim telah menetap di Amerika setelah berjaya mendapat Green Card, beliau bekerja disana. Itu yang kuketahui dari kakaknya.

Hubungan ku dengan Lim terputus setelah dia melanjutkan pelajaran. maklumlah, dizaman kami dulu tiada internet, email atau telefon bimbit, yang ada cuma sesekali menghantar poskad bertanya khabar. Untuk menulis surat kepada lelaki amat malas kami rasakan.

Suatu pagi. Aku bertembung dengan kakak Lim di pasar , kakaknya memberitahu Lim akan pulang ke tanahair. Dan aku amat terkejut dengan berita yang kudengar dari kakaknya.

Syukur Alhamdulillah, rakan baikku telah menemui hidayah dari Allah S.W.T. Memang aku tak sabar untuk berjumpa dengannya lebih-lebih lagi setelah menjadi saudara seagama denganku.

Hari yang kutunggu-tunggu telah tiba, dan petang itu aku berkesempatan bertemu dengan Lim dirumahnya. Ada satu keraian istimewa sempena menyambut kepulangannya. Ketika aku tiba, tetamu sudah semakin berkurangan. ..

Assalamualaikum..Itulah kalimat pertama dari mulutnya, wajahnya sudah jauh berubah, air mukanya amat redup dan tenang.

Aku menjawab salam dan berpelukan dengannya dan kami menangis umpama kekasih yang sudah terlalu lama terpisah.

'Ini dia olang memang sudah manyak lama kawan, dari kecik ini dua olang" Ibu Lim menjelaskan pada beberapa orang tetamu yang melihat peristiwa kami berpelukan dan menangis itu. Tetapi aku bukan menangis kerana apa, tetapi kerana amat sebak dan terharu dan sangat bersyukur melihat keislaman rakanku. Lim mengajak aku duduk dibuaian dihalaman rumahnya untuk berbual-bual. beliau masih fasih berbahasa melayu walau sudah lama berada diperantauan.

Talha, kau kawan baik aku kan? betul tak? .Memanglah..Kenapa kau tanya macam tu?kalau kau kawan baik aku, Kenapa kau biarkan aku diseksa?

Sorry Lim. Aku tak faham..diseksa? What do you mean?

Cuba kau fikir, kita ni kawan dari kecil. Aku ingat lagi, rumah kau tu, is my second house.

Tapi, mengapalah kau tak pernah ceritakan pada aku tentang Islam? Mengapa aku kena pergi ke US baru aku dapat belajar tentang Islam? Mengapa bukan di Malaysia, negara Islam ni?

Dan mengapa aku di Islam kan oleh seorang bekas paderi kristian?

Aku terdiam, kelu tak mampu menjawab. Dan Lim terus berkata-kata.Kalau betullah kau kawan baik aku, Kenapa kau cuma nak baik dengan aku di dunia saja? kau suka tengok kawan baik kau ni diseksa didalam api neraka?

Kau tahu, kalaulah aku ni tak sempat masuk islam hingga aku mati. Aku akan dakwa semua orang melayu Islam dalam kampung kita ni sebab tak sampaikan dakwah dan risalah Islam pada aku, keluarga aku dan non muslim yang lain.Kau sedar tak, kau dah diberikan nikmat besar oleh Allah denagn melahirkan kau didalam keluarga Islam. tapi, nikmat itu bukan untuk kau nikmati seorang diri, atau untuk keluarga kau sendiri, kau dilahirkan dalam Islam adalah kerana ditugaskan untuk sampaikan Islam pada orang-orang yang dilahirkan dalam keluarga bukan Islam macam aku.

Aku masih tunduk dan terkata apa-apa kerana sangat malu.Berdakwah adalah tugas muslim yang paling utama, sebagai pewaris Nabi, penyambung Risalah.

Tetapi apa yang aku lihat, orang melayu ni tiadak ada roh jihad, tak ada keinginan untuk berdakwah, macamana Allah nak tolong bangsa melayu kalau bangsa tu sendiri tak tolong ugama Allah? Aku bukan nak banggakan diri aku, cuma aku kesal..sepatutnya nikmat ini kau kena gunakan dengan betul dan tepat, kerana selagi kau belum pernah berdakwah, jangan kau fikir kau sudah bersyukur pada Allah.

Dan satu lagi, jangan dengan mudah kau cop orang-orang bukan Islam itu sebagai kafir kerana kafir itu bererti ingkar. Kalau kau dah sampaikan seruan dengan betul, kemudian mereka ingkar dan berpaling, barulah kau boleh panggil kafir.

Aku menjadi amat malu, kerana segala apa yang dikatakan oleh Lim adalah benar! dan aku tak pernah pun terfikir selama ini. Aku hanya sibuk untuk memperbaiki amalan diri sehingga lupa pada tugasku yang sebenar.

Baru aku faham, andainya tugas berdakwah ini telak dilaksanakan, Allah akan memberikan lagi pertolongan, bantuan dan kekuatan serta mempermudahkan segala urusan dunia dan akhirat sesorang itu. Petang itu aku pulang dengan satu semangat baru.
Aku ingin berdakwah!

Lim yang baru memeluk Islam selama 5 tahun itu pun telah mengislamkan lebih 20 orang termasuk adiknya. Mengapa aku yang hampir 40 tahun Islam ini (benarkah aku islam tulen) tidak pernah hatta walau seorang pun orang bukan Islam yang pernah kusampaikan dengan serious tentang kebenaran Islam?

Semoga Allah mengampuni diriku yang tidak faham apa itu erti nikmat dilahirkan sebagai Islam.

Like most women, I’m very particular about how my hair looks. Luckily there are several products in my kitchen that can actually help even baby fine, dry, brittle, damaged hair like mine! So let's have a look at the hair care products you can make in your very own home:

Avocado makes a wonderful hair conditioning treatment because it is rich in natural oils as well as vitamin B-6 and E. It is also packed with protein and has wonderful hydrating properties. You can use mashed avocado alone or mix it with lemon juice and/or aloe or mayonnaise to make an easy to use paste. Apply your chosen mixture to your hair and then comb it through with a wide-tooth comb or a hair pick. Wrap the hair with one of those wonderful Turbie Twist towels and let it sit for between 15 and 45 minutes. All that is left to then is to wash, rinse, and set.

Banana can help restore life to dull looking hair. Simply mix it together with a little bit of olive oil to make a natural paste. Apply liberally throughout the hair before it is shampooed. Comb the mixture through with a hair pick or wide-tooth comb. Let it sit for 20 minutes to one hour (covered or uncovered). Finally, shampoo, rinse, and style. Your newly revitalized hair should bounce with more elasticity and glow with revitalized shine.

Eggs can help restore shine to dry hair. They are also useful in taming frizz. Eggs contain natural fatty acids that infuse split ends with the nutrients needed to restore the hair’s natural shine. Make a conditioner by combining egg yolk with olive oil and water. Use it as you would a regular conditioner, and let it sit on the hair for at least five minutes. If your hair is really dry, let it sit for a minimum of ten minutes. All that is left to do then is to rinse and style.

Ketchup neutralizes the “green” tones that sometimes occur in blond hair that has been exposed to the chemicals common in swimming pool water. Apply ketchup to freshly shampooed hair. Next work it through with a hair pick or wide-tooth comb. Let set for at least 20 minutes or up to 45 minutes. Then rinse and style as usual. If the “green” persists, repeat the treatment in subsequent shampoos until hair returns to its natural blonde color.

Lemon juice, mixed with water, is great for creating highlights for blondes to light brownettes. Mix one-quarter cup of lemon juice with one cup of water to make the mixture. Put it into a spray bottle and spritz the hair as lightly or liberally as you like, whenever it will be exposed to the sun. However, don’t repeat the procedure too often throughout the summer or the mixture could begin to dry the hair and make it brittle.

Mayonnaise has long been recognized for its ability to help condition severely dry hair. It has natural oils and vitamins that infuse the hair with softness and shine. However, using mayonnaise alone may not have the maximum effect you want. If that is the case, try a mixture that is one part mayo, one part egg, and one part olive oil. The other ingredients have additional healing properties that are helpful. Combined with the mayonnaise, they make a much better overall hair mask.

Once you have mixed up your new natural hair conditioner, apply it directly to freshly shampooed hair. Work it through evenly with a wide-tooth comb or hair pick. Wrap the hair in a towel and wait for at least 30 minutes but no longer than one hour. Than, all that is left to do then is to rinse and style.

Rosemary oil can add luster and shine to extremely dry hair. This wonderful natural seasoning has a lot of powerful properties. It stimulates hair follicles, can help prevent premature hair loss, and darkens the hair naturally for those who don’t want to use harmful chemical dyes.

To make your own rosemary oil, put the fresh rosemary leaves into a container and cover them with either sesame or olive oil. Put the mixture on the window sill or other location where the sun will hit regularly. Leave there for one month. Once it has steeped for the appropriate amount of time, strain the mixture and put it into another container. Store in a dark place until you are ready to use it.

To use your rosemary oil, heat it slightly in the microwave or by inserting its container into very hot water. Once it is warmed, work the oil into already shampooed hair. Pick through the hair or use a wide-tooth comb to make certain that the oil is evenly distributed. Wrap your head in a towel and leave for between 15 minutes and one hour. Then, all you have to do is rinse and style.

Sage tea can help you hide that pesky gray. The tea is easy to make. Just simmer dried sage in water for about 30 minutes and then let it steep overnight. When you are ready, apply it to the hair like a rinse and let it naturally air dry. Then, all that is left then is to rinse and style. Although it may take more than one application to hide all of the gray, once you achieve the desired shade it only needs to be repeated about once a month.

Tomato juice is wonderful for chasing away unusual hair odors that most often occur among children. Simply pour it, undiluted, over freshly shampooed hair. Cover it with a shower cap and wait for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse and set as usual.

Toothpaste is useful with those terrible hair dye mistakes. If your dye leaves a stain on your skin around the hairline, rub in a bit of toothpaste. It has natural abrasives that will break-up and release the dye so that you can just wash it away.

Vegetable glycerin can help kick up the shine of any type of hair while also taming that frightening frizz. Mix a small amount, about the size of a dime, into your favorite hair styling product. Apply the mixture to your hair as you usually do, either wet or dry, and style. If your ends are particularly damaged, pour a dab of the glycerin into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and then gently work into the ends of the hair.

Vinegar, mixed with water, makes a wonderful hair rinse. It also helps to clarify the hair by removing excess product buildup. My mother used it on my hair when I was little because my baby fine hair was long (nearly down to my knees). It helped to restore youthful shine and untangled my terrible tresses with remarkable ease. I found out later that vinegar is also great for taming natural bacteria growth that occurs on the scalp. Some say it is also excellent for those suffering from dandruff. The type of vinegar chosen is up to you. Mom used apple cider vinegar on my hair but a lot of people with dark colored hair swear by brown vinegar. You can either choose to rinse the vinegar out with cool water or leave it on as a leave-in conditioner.

P/s: Beautiful hair is the goal of just about every woman that I know. The above products in some instances work better than the expensive ones purchased in exclusive boutiques. At any rate, they are worth a try. What have you got to lose?

14. Tiap perempuan yang menolong suaminya dalam urusan agama, maka Allah S.W.T memasukkan dia ke dalam syurga lebih dahulu daripada suaminya (10,000 tahun).

15. Apabila seseorang perempuan mengandung janin dalam rahimnya, maka beristighfarlah para malaikat untuknya. Allah S.W.T mencatatkan baginya setiap hari dengan 1,000 kebaikan dan menghapuskan darinya 1,000 kejahatan.

16. Apabila seseorang perempuan mulai sakit hendak bersalin, maka Allah S.W.T mencatatkan baginya pahala orang yang berjihad pada jalan Allah S.W.T

The causes of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) are complex and patterns differ among countries and regions. For example, in some areas the commercial sexual exploitation of children is clearly related to foreign child sex tourism, in others it is associated with the local demand. In most countries, girls represent 80 to 90% of the victims, although in some places boys predominate.

As is the case for other worst forms of child labour, severe poverty, the possibility of relatively high earnings, low value attached to education, family dysfunction, a cultural obligation to help support the family or the need to earn money to simply survive are all factors that make children vulnerable to CSEC.

There are other non-economic factors that also push children into commercial sexual exploitation. Children who are at greatest risk of becoming victims of CSEC are those that have previously experienced physical or sexual abuse. A family environment of little protection, where caregivers are absent or where there is a high level of violence or alcohol or drug consumption, induces boys and girls to run away from home, making them highly susceptible to abuse.

Kinda lame but watever -_-"

So, Fabuyashi & Love join force with FLB for their 3rd flea market together with other blogshops in Singapore.
We gather our stuff n sell it at goodie good price!
Total fun eventho it's drizzlin.

Kinda full house for the earlier timing.
No choice but to watch at 9.30pm.
Interesting movie for kids I have to say.
My lil bro n Choon Yan (my lil bro bestfriend) laugh out loud throughout the show.
And that's include me n my fiance as well.
So parents, do bring your kids to watch this movie.
I'm sure u won't be wasting a single bucks on it!

In my search for the best lotion/ moisturizer, I'm very much particular with the brand and the ingredients in it.I happened to find Nivea Body whitening milk repair. The descriptions says that it is an everyday moisturizing cream that removes the dullness of the skin. And what best, it works for the inner cells in us. So I got myself one and just give it a try. As I began to use it for my body, I felt that it worked well for my skin. It has a nice mild scent unlike many sun protection creams that I used before and after awhile I get an itch to it. Well, I have a very sensitive skin due to my allergy. I use it everyday and I apply about 20 minutes before going outdoors.

It does not have the stickiness like other Nivea creams. It is mild on all skin types and it works for kids too! I had discoloration on my hips due to tanning. It is slowly fading away with every day use. It even softens the ski! If you feel that the skin is getting rough due to air conditioning or maybe scars, just apply the cream and you could feel the refreshing effect with warmth.

This cream is available in 400 ml bottles at about S$9.80. I think it is a reasonable amount. It can be used as a family cream for everyday use. Go get it!

I do have LOTSA love one in my life..
Friends, family, love one blablabla..
But percentage of them I simply don't trust them at all..
Eventhough they are close to me,
that doesn't mean they can be trust..
The closer you get with them,
the more they will backstab you.. (well, maybe some of them)

It has happen to me many times..
It really does make me sick and tired with all the bullshit kinda stuff..
They will be nice/ friendly with you at first and
with no reason, they will get mad and backstab you..
I simply don't get it with them sometimes..
As a friend, all you want is the truth and to tell the truth..
But when we did, they will be mad..
Can't they just accept the fact that their friend here is honest enough?
pfft~~

There's even this one time, (oh well, it's not one time but many time...!)
a "friend" of mine was asking me this "what do you think of me?"
You see, when people start to asked me this kinda question,
It will for sure make me think many time "should I tell them the truth or should I tell them a lie?"
I'm a person who is outspoken (but some may think I'm too outspoken) and will always tell the truth..
When this "friend" of mine asked me that question,
I just tell them my opinion and that's the truth..
But of course, before hand I do apologised to them if they might get hurt or
maybe upset with my opinion or feedback..
What they will ALWAYS reply back to me is, "Nah.. it's ok, I'm up to it and I can for sure accept it.. No matter what you're still my friend" (ya right..)
Sadly said, they don't!
They just can't accept the truth bout it..

I'm fine with it and I know that in life some people can't accept the truth..
Friends come and go but to get the perfect one to be the one,
it's just 0.01% of it..
I remember one time, someone tell me this "Once bite, twice shy"
But hey, what about me?
I've been bite many time and I don't know how many donkey time I've shy~!
Like come on, life goes on and it is sucks to live with this kinda people in life..
Sometimes you just need to put on sarcastic smile just to live up yourself..
People always advised me this "forgive and forget"
Well, like duh~
I do forgive and forget about it but do they?
They will always come back to me when I don't give a sh** anymore..
They will talk back to me or even try to be friendly with me back..
Well, I do make things as normal as possible but aren't they the one who supposed to be shy?
Don't they even think what they've done to me before?

People do get blushed or shy whenever they wanna talk about sex.
Well, it's true.
As for me, I find it a scientific kinda way.
We all were taught about sex since we were 12.
Well, our teachers/ lecturers won't be teaching us how sex works or such.
We were taught about vagina, groin, specimen, sperms and of course safe sex.
Sex are commonly refers to the act in which the male reproductive organ
enters the female reproductive tract.
Indirect kinda way, the gun get a hole of a bunny? =P

In traditionally, intercourse has been viewed as the natural
endpoint of all sexual contact between a man and a woman.
But generations yet have to change.
Some may go between men and another men or maybe woman with another woman.
Penetration happen in different kinda way.
Such as oral intercourse, anal intercourse, fingering, fisting n etc.
Sexual intercourse may also be defined as referring to other forms
of insertive sexual behavior, such as oral sex and anal intercourse.

Oral sex consists of all the sexual activities that involve the use of the mouth,
tongue, and possibly throat to stimulate genitalia.
It is sometimes performed to the exclusion of all other forms of sexual activity.
The phrase to have sex can mean any or all of these behaviors,
as well as other non-penetrative sex acts not considered here.
Sex toys may a play a role in sexual interaction,
while sex positions often play a part in all human sexual interactions. *winks*

Masturbation, the simple act of stimulating one's own genitalia,
is safe so long as contact is not made with other people's discharged bodily fluids.
Some activities, such as "phone sex" and "cybersex" or whatever it is,
that allow for partners to engage in sexual activity without being in the same room, eliminating the risks involved with exchanging bodily fluids. (hmm...)

BENEFITS OF SEX

Sex has been claimed to produce health benefits as varied as improved sense of smell,
weight loss, stress reduction, increased immunity and decreased risk of prostate cancer.
Sex between cohabiting partners lowers blood pressure and reduces stress.
Scientist shows that frequent sexual intercourse (once or twice a week)
to increased production of the antibody called Immunoglobulin A or IgA,
which can protect the body from getting colds and other infections.
And did you know that thirty minutes of sex can burns 85 calories or more in our body.

But of course, in contrast to all this benefits and such,
sexual behavior can be a disease vector (in other word, epidemiology/ infectious).
Safe sex is a relevant harm reduction philosophy.
Using condoms are widely recommended for the prevention of STDs or any other disease.
Although a condom is effective in limiting exposure,
some disease transmission may occur even with a condom on.
Some kinda common disease are STD, HIV/ AIDS, Syphilis, Hepatitis A/ B/ C,
Escherichia Coli (I never heard of this, seriously) and etc.

So people, in order to have sex before marriage,
do practice a safe sex.
Safe sex = Happy people =)

Breakfast at McDonald's

This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.

The last class I had to take was Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.

He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching..

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend.. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the! blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted..

He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand..

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope..'

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.

I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.

I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son,the instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:

UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE.

Home-made Mask

You can use basic ingredients found around the house to make your own simple, hydrating masks. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, mud or clay-based masks are great for balancing out your skin. Dry skin will benefit from hydrating masks made from glycerin, honey and oils. Ginseng or green tea masks are great for soothing sensitive skin.

Masks (homemade or otherwise) should stay on for 10-15 minutes, should follow with a thin layer of moisturizer.

Here are recipes we've gathered over the years arranged by skin type.

Banana Mask for Oily Skin
This is a soothing face mask and great if you have bananas around the house.

Ingredients:
1 banana, preferably ripe (you can keep ripe bananas in the freezer. Let it thaw before using)
1 tbsp honey
An orange or a lemon

Preparation:
Mix the banana and honey together.
Add a few drops of juice from an orange or a lemon.
Apply to face for 15 minutes before rinsing with a cool washcloth or a steaming warm washcloth.

Strawberry Acne Mask
Why buy acne products when you use strawberries? Strawberries are a natural source of salicylic acid which is found in most over-the-counter acne medicines, according to Janice Cox, the author of "Natural Beauty at Home." This is Cox's recipe. The yogurt is great for soothing skin and what best is, it's smell wonderful!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup strawberries (fresh, not frozen please)
1/4 cup sour cream or non-flavored yogurt

Preparation:
Mash together the strawberries and yogurt or sour cream. Spread on face and wash after 10-15 minutes.

Homemade Clay Mask for Oily, Dry, Combination and Acne-Prone Skin
Clay masks are soothing and healing to skin. You can pick up a basic green clay (also known as bentonite clay) from any health-food store. Clay comes in powder form. Add water if you have oily skin, jojoba oil if you have dry skin or milk for combo skin to create a workable mask.

Ingredients:
A basic fuller's earth clay, also known as bentonite or green clay (if skin is sensitive, French green clay is a good option)
1 tsp honey
water (oily skin), half and half (combination skin) or jojoba oil (dry skin)
Optional: your favorite essential oil

Preparation:
I find it's best to mix 2 parts liquid to 1 part clay.
Choose your liquid based on your skin type. If you have oily skin, choose water. Combination skin, choose milk or half and half and if you have dry skin, opt for jojoba oil.

Mix in a bit of honey.
Add more liquid if clay is too dry.
Add a few drops of the essential oil (this step is optional).
Keep mask on for 15 minutes.

Rinse off with a steaming washcloth (I like to steam my washcloths with a couple drops of the essential oils in the microwave, but make sure washcloth is not too hot).

Yogurt Face Mask for Sensitive or Sunburnt Skin

This mask is great for soothing chapped, sunburned or otherwise irritated skin.
Extra tip: This mask works well for other skin types as well. For oily skin, add a couple drops of lemon or lime juice. For dry skin, mix in a couple tablespoons of honey.

Ingredients:
1 cup natural yogurt (we like it just-out-of-the-fridge cold)
½ cup oatmeal (any type of basic oatmeal works here)

Preparation:
Mix the ingredients together.
Apply to the skin for 10-15 minutes.
Wash off mask with a washcloth steamed in the microwave (careful that it's not too hot).
Two other fun options for oatmeal face masks:
Egg whites. Mix the oatmeal and an egg white. Let the mixture dry on face, then gently wash off with a few splashes of warm water. Follow with a steaming washcloth to the face.

Peptol-Bismol. A friend of mine uses Pepto-Bismol with oatmeal for her masks. She got this tip years ago from a magazine. She suggests the active ingredient (bismuth subsalicylate) in Pepto-Bismol soothes your stomach as well as your face.

Rose Face Mask for Combination Skin

This mask, based on roses, is perfect for balancing out the oily and dry areas of your skin.

Ingredients:
Optional: 6 fresh rose petals
2 tbsps rosewater
1 tbsp natural yogurt, room temperature (not lowfat or non-fat)
1 tbsp runny honey (to get honey runny, you can warm it in a microwave for a few seconds).

Preparation:
Soak rose petals, then crush them in a bowl.
Add the rosewater, yogurt and honey.
Mix well and apply to the skin.
Leave on for 10 minutes.
Rinse.

Clash of the Titans in 3D

Was excited to watch this movie once i saw the
trailer through youtube.
And by seeing the review, it really make me look
forward to catch it in movie.
So, me n fiance went to CCK to catch it.
Believe it or not, the movie is FULL HOUSE n
it's only 7pm show.
can u beat that? pfft~
So, we got no choice and just stick to that 7pm show
n our seat located 3rd seat from the front row to the far left..
tsk tsk~~~~

Once the show started, it really make me so concentrated.
But i dunnoe, it's pretty disappointing for me..
cos the movie is so straight forward.
you can really know whats gonna happen next,
who'se the one dying or watever..

Hello Lovelies..

Damn, it's been long I go MIA..
hehe..
Today, i had dinner with my fiance at Northpoint..
Been craving for Delifrance actually (well, i got this "bad" habits of craving for foods..hehe)
i tot there's still Delifrance there but to my dissapointment,
it can't be found!
tsk, so we walk at the Basement area n my fiance was like asking me,
"have we tried eating here before? *pointing at BBQ Chick Restaurant* no rite?"
me "nope..wanna try?" (me who love trying out new food)

so, we went in and got served by the waitress there..
table set for 2 n menu given..

i chose the Grilled Speciality which is the Jerk (Jamaican Jerk Spice) BBQ Chicken..
weird name rite?
JERK Chicken..
bet this chicken used to be a JERK before life..
hahahaha (ok LAME!)

as for my fiance, he chose the Black Pepper Chicken Steak..
when you choose this meal, u'll get 2 additional side order..
such as french fries, salad, olive rice, mashed potato, coleslaw..
for my set, i chose the fries with coleslaw n for him,
he chose the olive rice with fries..
for the drinks, i ordered Kiwi and Strawberry Snapple n he chose the Ice Mocha..

Our food were serve btwn 15 - 20mins..
thats quite fast rite?
and the food were FAB!!
so juicy so tender n u can really taste the chicken n sauce..
sucha a kick!
i'll recommend u all to go there..

KUMAR: Stripped Bare & Standing Up

Last Saturday, went to Esplanade to catch KUMAR: Stripped Bare & Standing Up
performance.The outrageously funny Kumar sold out his 4-show run at the
Esplanade last year before the shows even started and when he
finally hit the stage, everyone was squealing with laughter!

After 17 years in the "funny-biz", Kumar,
the undisputed Drag-Queen of local comedy stripped off more than
just the skin-tight panty hose and turned his "no-holds-barred"
wicked sense of humour onto himself.

Nothing is sacred as he shares the hilarious (yet moving)
stories of his growing up years with his Dad, how he was
discovered in a dress after Boom Boom Room and his many escapades
during Basic Military Training.

There is nothing basic about this show which incorporates a
wonderful "mini-docu" and culminates in Kumar showing off
his dancing skills with Singapore's best known tabla-man, Maniam.

Me n my friends really enjoy watching him on stage. His jokes really
make all of us had a great laugh. It made my laughing box cramp!
haha.

Rating: 5 out of 5 (do catch his show if there's a chance)

Has any of you heard about HOTA?
Well, i do.
HOTA (Human Organ Transplant Act)was first enacted
in 1987 to allow for the kidneys of all non-Muslim
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents between
the ages of 21 to 60, to be donated in the event
of accidental death for transplantation only.
This expansion of HOTA to include more organs
has helped save many more lives.

HOTA was again amended in August 2008 to include
Muslim Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
who were excluded from HOTA when it was first enacted in 1987.
The amendment meant that Muslims who have
not opted out of HOTA would receive the same
priority as those who are included under HOTA
or MTERA should the need for a donor organ arise.
This also meant that the organ donor pool would further increase.

The first time I get to know about this is from my sister.
She had her blood donation and she introduce me to
this HOTA/ Organ donation few years back.
It makes me looking forward to do this donation but
I wasn't allowed to do so as I'm still not in my legal age.
On my 21st birthday, I received a letter from HOTA
regarding about my the donation that i'm looking forward to.
But of course, before I can proceed with the applications,
i have to seek permission from my parents and my fiance.
They kinda disagree to it as you all can know the Muslim
rules and such.

Me, for being stubborn, I'm still looking forward for this.
It may takes time for them to accept my decision but what I know is,
my decision is final.
I'm doing this cos I know, someone out there might need this
more than I do.
Furthermore, it's not as if that they will take away this organ of mine now.
They will only do it when I'm dead.
So ya.

he doesn't just weari his heart on his sleeve,
his ever changing moods are literally reflected to his face
and the attire.

Teenie Weenie Cute!
is a a swashbuckling mouse in the Underland.
Her loyalty to the Hatter is unmatched and she's willing
to faces the prospect of death stand by him (how loyal can this mouse be?)

The White Rabbit

Furry Norm Cute?
well, as always late and rush for the time.
always in a hurry and alwas rushing about. (tsk~)

The Red Queen

Humungous Cute??? (haha)
with her oversize head n temper and propensity to scream
for people's head to be chopped off, she rules her subject
through fear. (how mean!)

The White Queen

Snowy cute? (maybe because she's all white..)
When Alice return in the underland, The White Queen takes her under
her wing, offering protection, although there's a motive to it.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum

Chubbyly cute! (look at their sizes..)
twin brothers that constantly disagree with each other
and whose confusing chatter makes little sense to anyone but
just them. (what are brother are for rite?)

Panic by the Heat Rash!

I have something to share with all of u about my experience.
well, its not my first time having this BUT
it's my first time having this at WORST!
seriously it is!
it even make me cry due to the pain that i'm facing.
people might think that having heat rash is common.
n yes it is, of course.

what are the sypmtoms of it??
they are;

Skin itching
Skin prickling
Small red bumps
Clusters of red bumps

So, what causes Heat Rash?
The most common causes for heat rash are as follows;

Hot weather (what u expect? it's a SUNNY SINGAPORE)
Humidity (we can't avoid that!)
Tropical areas (as in the forest? i bet most NS-ians have this problem)
Sun burn
Scald
Xerosis (for dry skin. Idiopathic or due to excessive bathing, low humidity or such)
Contact dermatitis (due to soap,chemicals, wool, fiberglass. it's like an allergy)
others

Well there's too much for me to type out all the causes of Heat Rash.
Like seriously, from lice to herpes to pinworm to fever to mites.
oh craps! too much..

So, how do I get to know i get heat rash?
it's all started at work yesterday.
Actually, the back of my knee been itch since the night before.
and i tot it's just normal.
when i'm on my way to work yesterday,
my arm start to get red.
so, once im in the office, i just apply my lotion.
While i'm doing my work on my desk,
my body start to get heat n itch same time.
it's like i've been poked or maybe like a mosquito bite?
i took of my sweater n BOOMS!
red patch all over my hand.
i SUPER PANIC!
seriously i am!
i tot my allergy got worst so i took the lotion n
apply tones of it! (hahaha..)
can u beat it, it's on my neck, my arm, my leg.
my job need to meet clients/ customer/ proffessional ppl
every single day.
to see me all red, it's like so.. OMG!
like hey, even my colleagues spot the redness on my neck ok.(tsk~)

i began SUPER DUPER PANIC when i see those bumps n
redness all over me.
called my mum n she say maybe it's my allergies.
but seriously i dun tink so.
so, i called my fiance.
then he say it might be heat rash.
i kinda disbelief with it until
my colleague tell me that it is heat rash.
Damn It!
4.45pm at work.
the heat rash really disturbs me n my work.
i keep on goin in and out of the ladies just to clean
these rash.
i need to keep/make those rash wet n cooling.
used ice bag n dap on it.
then, sumting happen n makes me SUPER STRESS.
the heat rash goes up till my face!
of course i go GUBU GABIDA BIDA!!!!
my nose, my cheeks, my forehead n the worst is my lips!
my lips got swollen n i feel so
Angelina Jolie (well i feel sexy tho' with lip gloss on. haha =P )
i called my fiance again n
almost cry.
this heat rash is super pain.
seriously. it is!
then he asked me to go home by cab instead of taking the train.
he wants me to avoid the sunlight.

6pm strikes on my watch.
pack my stuff n off to the taxi stand.
n yes ppl, when my body touches the light from the sun,
it's SUPER FUDGING PAIN in the arse.
when i got home, my mum saw my whole face n hand in redness.
she began to be so call panic as well n she tot
i got the bed bugs bite!
tsk~
well, if i got bed bugs bite, won't my sis got it too?
we're in the same bed ibu.. (aiyoyo)
got my cold shower n i apply the prickly heat powder (bedak ular).
felt so relieved.
but the relieved are ONLY AWHILE.
when i got my self to bed bout 11.45pm,
this rash began to swell like really really bad till my
palm n my feet hurts.
they swollen like as if i got burn.
it really makes me so uneasy to sleep.
so i get up from bed n went to my mum's room.
not to wake her but to her toilet. (hehe)
then i look at my hand, leg & body.
WAH! it swell so bad.
SUPER RED & SUPER PAIN!
then,out of nowhere, my chest start to pain n i vomited.
i got so scared,panic n control this pain at same time.
out from the toilet, wake my mum up.
i turn on the light n my mum go
"eh..terok nye.."
seriously. my face swollen hor.
i cried in pain n i ask my mum to bring me to the emergency.
i really really can't take it anymore.
with the nausea, chest pain n the itch, it's killing me softly.(hehe)

then, my mum went to my lil bro's room n took the Nutmeg oil.
she apply all over me,exclude my face!
i tell u, the smell super tak boleh tahan (can't stand)
after she apply those oil, i get back to my bed n
blast the air-con.
eventho i know im in cold, i can't be bother.
i'm just hoping this rash will be away.
7am my alarms ring.
i felt better.
i stand on my feet n gedeboom!
i fall. weird rite?
i look at my feet, it swell!!!!!!
i look at my hand, it swell too.
OMG! OMG! i went to my mums room n she checked on me.
she tot im ok but when she look at my feet,
"ya allah.. gi sapu minyak tu lagi.." (oh god, go and apply those oil again)
i grab my towel n had my shower n tinkin in my head,
"shall i take MC today?"
clean myself n out of the toilet.
grab my dress n oh, apply those oil again!
i'm wearing my cotton on palm shoe today.
in the train, my feet n my hand super
pain with the swollen.
cannot tahan!
i feel like taking off this shoe.
how dum dum can i be.
i shud have wear my sandals instead!
reach the office, i apply the Nutmeg Oil again.
n now, wala!
i'm A-Ok *big smile*

so, if u encounter any heat rash,
do use Nutmeg Oil, cos it does the work pretty good!
=)

p/s: DO NOT SCRATCH WHEN U GOT THE ITCH COS IT MIGHT CAUSE A SCAR!

Did You Hear About the Morgan?

A successful Manhattan couple, real estate agent Meryl Judith Morgan (née Becker) (Sarah Jessica Parker) and lawyer Paul Michael Morgan (Hugh Grant) are separated because of Paul's infidelity. But they are thrust together when they witness a murder and become targets of a contract killer.

Federal marshalls whisk away the Morgans from their beloved New York to tiny Ray, Wyoming, where they are temporarily put in the custody of the Wheelers (Sam Elliott and Mary Steenburgen), a married couple who are U.S. marshalls. They use the assumed names of Meryl and Paul Foster, who are visiting their cousins, the Wheelers. The killer, meanwhile, tries to track them down.

While adjusting to Ray, Paul tries rekindling their marriage. Meanwhile, in New York, the killer is still after them and has found out where they are through Meryl's assistant. When Paul hurts his shoulder shooting cans for fun, he is taken to the only doctor in town, whose number the murderer intercepts.

Paul and Meryl go on a "date" in town and begin to reconcile, but then Paul is alienated when he learns that Meryl had had an affair while they were separated.

The next day, with the killer in town, the Morgans anticipate leaving Ray for a permanent hiding place. The Wheelers invite them to a rodeo, but the Morgans are quarreling so they decline. Leaving the Morgans without any form of security, the Wheelers leave for the rodeo. The killer attacks the house, but the Morgans are able to sneak out.

Fleeing to the Rodeo, they hide in a bull suit and accidentally frighten a live bull into head-butting them. Meryl, unable to walk, stays hidden from the killer while Paul confronts him unarmed. But he is rescued by Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler and his new friends from the town.

In a coda, set 6 months later, Paul and Meryl are still married having just adopted a baby girl from China, whom they name Rae after Ray, Wyoming, and Meryl is pregnant with a child of their own.

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is a brilliant planner and inventor. One night two robbers invade his Philadelphia home and brutally kill his wife and daughter, and almost kill him. The killers are caught, and Assistant DA Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) is assigned the case. Nick is ordered by the DA to make a deal with one of the killers to testify against his partner for a 10 year plea bargain prison sentence. Clyde doesn't want Nick to make the deal, but Nick says it was too late and the deal is done. The other killer got the death penalty. After 10 years, the other killer is released from prison, and he soon ends up dead. Clyde is arrested and kind of admits to Nick that he did it. Clyde is put in jail, and he warns Nick that he must fix the broken justice system that failed him and his family or else anyone connected to his case will soon die. Even from jail, Clyde's threats become a reality, and Nick must stop Clyde before his family is next.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Expectant mothers and those with heart conditions take note. Santau is not for you, so says the cliché warning (used to drum up curiosity no less), and in some ways I found it quite true, because it's one heck of a guilt trip down the old school horror lane, except that this one starts with a bang and never quite take a breather, opting for a thrilling roller coaster ride of scares and inevitable comedy that go down best with a jumpy, vocal audience. (seriously, almost all the audience in the theatre shout hor! hehe)

The story is a fairly simple one, and given that this is probably my first proper, theatrical viewing of a contemporary Malaysian horror film, I do find some parallels between the black magic genre of the Malaysian film, to that of the Thai counterparts, with witch doctors being heavily involved in hexing and the setting of curses to fulfill their own miserable wants against another human being.

But i digress. Essentially it tells on how negative behaviour like envy and spite can cause someone to curse another man and his family, wishing them anything but being well, and to seek the help of wandering spirits to wreck havoc in their seemingly perfect lives (well, fyi, it still happening here. Jealousy.)

Halim (Esma Daniel) throws a feast(kenduri kesyukuran) for this neighbours as he had won a lucrative tender, but there's someone in the village who sees green, and decides to hex him, his wife Nina (Putri Mardiana) and child Ecah (Farisha Fatin). Talk about being vicious and cowardly at the same time, as that unknown entity starts to channel the spooking onto the wife and child, playing on the notion that kids can see things that adults don't.

There are a number of points here that one shouldn't start to think too much of, such as the varying degrees of tactics the spirits use, from scaring others from within the confines of a physical body, to getting out of the human vessel and doing so from the outside. They're a fickle bunch these spirits here. And it seemed that every one religious in the kampung has supernatural abilities in dealing with ghouls (quite an awesome skill to possess), save for disbelievers like Halim, who through the course of the story, would reaffirm his faith (well, it was made to look that way). A cursory lesson that one shouldn't be losing one's religion perhaps?

The last half hour was where the most fun was, beginning with an unintentionally comedic episode that took place within the confines of a vehicle. There was wife-bashing (cos this part, the wife got posses SUPER rabak already) and the playing of a prayer CD while en route to seek the help of more powerful bomohs/ Ustadz. And if there's a formula in the genre, it's the unwritten rule that bomohs/ Ustadz get visited in ascending order of ability, so that you allow the less powerful ones to gain some field experience, before proceeding onto someone who can solve the issue together with a support team.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5

p/s: This movie is WAYYYYYY better than Jangan Pandang Belakang.

ALONE

If you thought sibling rivalry was bad, imagine how nasty a fight would be with your brother or sister attached to your body.

The Thai film Alone puts you in the shoes of Pim (Masha Wattanapanich), the sole survivor of a separation surgery between her and her Siamese twin, Ploy. Feeling responsible for Ploy's death, Pim has since moved to Korea with her boyfriend to escape her guilt. But when she returns to Thailand to visit her dying mother, she's shocked to find her twin is still beside her in the form of a ghost.

Pim is quite an attractive woman, but Ploy isn't looking so hot: As a ghost, she's a rotten corpse with pupil-less eyes, blue skin, and brown teeth -- literally, looks that can kill. Ploy isn't intere sted in talking things over, either; she's bent on tormenting sis to death. This horrific ghost will appear lying down next to her sister in bed; she'll hang herself from the blades of ceiling fans and hover above Pim; she'll even try to drown her sister in the bathtub. What's Ploy so pissed off about to want to stick around, anyhow?

Ok Ok i know..

Just wanna share with you bout my trip to the Bird Park last Sunday..
Oh, at the same time, it's a celebration for my lil bro
8th birthday...
well, that's his birthay wish mah..

n yes of course, to surprised him, we blind fold him.

I really go excited once i reached there.
feel like a small kid again.
haha.
My lil bro get a free entrance as a gift from the BirdPark,
which also known as "Wild Birthday".
cool eh..

Lucky boy! tsk.
After long hours over there, we went back home at 6pm.
Gosh, waiting for the cab there is TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS!!
it took us at least 40min - 1hr of waiting for the next cab to arrive.

PUNK IN LOVE (Indo Comedy)

Arok (Vino G. Bastian) is unlucky in love; his girlfriend Maia (Girindra Kara) will be getting married to Andra, a Jakarta guy. Feeling hard to accept this news he tries to commit suicide by jumping off a building but managed to be stopped by his three friends: Yoji (Andhika Pratama), Almira (Aulia Sarah) and Mojo (Yogi Finanda).

His friends challenge him to express his love to Maia before it is too late. And to do that they need to travel to Jakarta from their hometown, Malang. With just adequate money and punk hairstyle as their trademark, the four friends make a trip to Jakarta and their mission is to prevent Maia’s wedding to Andra from happening. They travel through different cities: Bromo, Semarang, Cirebon before reaching Jakarta.

However, their journey is not that smooth as they need to face all kind of obstacles such as flooding, personal illness and even quarrel with a sate seller on their way to Jakarta. The more obstacles they need to face suddenly they feel that their friendship is even more meaningful and precious than before. Finally they reach Jakarta after a challenging journey.

Rating: 3 out of 5 (a lil lame but worth for a gd laugh)

KUTUKAN SUSTER NGESOT (Horror)

Group of basketball players were on their way back to their homeland.
The asst leader are given a warning by a villagers not to cross to
the left direction as it's haunted.
Without concentrating on the journey,
the bus driver drive through the way and the bus stop in the middle of
the Kuno cemetary.
Derry (the asst leader) announced everyone to get down the bus as to look
for help.
Half of the people got down the bus and follow Derry to search for help
while 4 of the players stood still in the bus.
As they pass through the cemetary, they came across an abandon hospital.
Thats where all the mystery started.

Rating: 2 out of 5 (didn't scare me at all & kinda boring)

Eversince from there, it's really make me think several time to go
for facial again!
it's like a bad nightmare..
n the best, its happen during my engagement day u know!
damn it! lucky there's photoshop to edit here n there.
tsk!

So, eversince i'm using this Seaweed range,
my breakout lessen!
n the best is, i'm a sensitive skin person n i'm ok to use this!
this is the first time in my life,
I've stick to the same facial wash brand n last really long!
so, for those who have the same problem like me,
go n get it now n give it a go.
But please do seek their advice before buying it ok!

p/s: due to the lack-nes in taking care of my face,
my breakout came back! Deena (The Body Shop sales asst @ Holland V) asked me to
used the Tea Tree facial wash , Tea Tree Face Mask & Tea Tree Oil. I'm still allowed to use
the Seaweed toner n etc still since they work the same. =D

Hey all!!
i guess i've forgotten to update bout my brand new lappy(notebook/ laptop)
got myself Aspire 4736G by ACER.
did i put this sentence correctly?
well anyway, last month i went to Singapore Expo for the IT sales.
i wanted to get the the other type of ACER lappy but this salesman
who came to us give me a good point of view for this Aspire 4736G.

i really take gd care of this baby.
clean disk, run anti virus blablabla..

i really need to change this SE W960i.
been continuously hang or jam.
it goes blank out of sudden or screen blur.
well u know like the tv, when u change to the wrong channel,
there's this black n white spots all over or even,
oh u know wat i mean!
it's pretty annoying u see.
so ya, i've decided to get this N97.
it's either im getting the mini or the normal.
i'm still pending which to choose.*me n my fickle minded*

I went to catch movie yesterday with my fiance.
A treat for his Bday.
But, I'm the choosing the show..
hahaha..
But well, he love tho'
I've been wanted to watch Avatar in 3D.
n i tell u, the movie is fudging AWESOME la seh..
the effects, colours, EVERYTHING..
u shud see how my face react when i start to say "wah...." "owh...." hahaha
But wat makes me dissapointed is the 3D glasses..
i've to keep repeating adjusing my glasses.
it's damn big for my face..
n simply irritating la..

What else should be in this list that i've missed?
Hmm...
Well, I'm making the list and will be browsing/ survey around.
We have 14 months to go or maybe more..? hehe
It won't be a VAVA-VOOMS (grand) but a simple one would be great.
We've plan to nikah on Friday,
Saturday will be having Dinner at my side &
Sunday the receptions of celebration (is this right words to use?) hehe
It won't be a problem for me for the mak andam n etc as my aunt is a mak andam herself.
So that's make my life a lil easier.
I'm still looking around for the best food of catering.
I did attend some of friends wedding n also certain recomendations.
But ya, I can't decide everythingon my own right.
I need to discuss with my mum 1st.
The guy side will be a differ one.
I'm not sure if he already plan for this yet.
But I can bet u, he haven't even started to plan.
You see, the reason why I start to make all this list n etc to
make myself clear what to look/ check for.

I went to my cousins wedding the other day,
n oh gosh, i guess it's pretty common for people to used BLACK as a theme.
HATE THAT!
Reason?
Cos that's the colour that I want for my wedding since I was a kid.

But ya. I can't make the decisions for the theme now.
Cos i can bet u, I'm gonna go VERY fickle minded with the designs/ theme.

I told my mum that I'll be inviting some drags for drag shows during dinner ceremony.

They want me to make it like u know the cabaret style.
There'll be 'joget lambak' n etc. (so remind me of *Klasik Mambo) hehe
I just listen to their excitement n smile to it.
I can't believe it, that they actually make plans for my wedding. cute!
But ya, i can't make the decisions for now.
What I need to do is the list first thing first.

Nadirah is written by Alfian Saat, directed by Zizi Azah Abdul Majid and Jo Kukathas, and stars the stellar cast of Siti Khalijah Zainal, Neo Swee Lin, Tony Quek, Shida Mahadi and Hatta Said. A tribute to Yasmin Ahmad for her spirit of bringing people of different races and religions together.

Of tolerance and acceptance; association and self-identity. In the face of challenges, Nadirah is to find out just how strong family and religion is. Will love or faith prevail? *the quotes*
